i have my preferences as well. i loved the 90s animated series on fox, and loved the updated look on the WB even more. the designs, characterization, voice actors -- i loved all of it, probably more than anyone you'll ever discuss it with. i find it to be the perfect representation of the batuniverse.
all that said, odds are, i wont like this upcoming cartoon as much as the previous incarnations -- but i'm still willing to give it a try! more than likely, i'll end up really enjoying it!
you can't write off an entire cartoon, still months away from seeing it, based solely on two images and four names.
and its not like 10 years ago, before the animated series debut, everyone was raving at the idea of "luke skywalker" doing the joker's voice, or bull from night court as two-face.
those turned out wonderfully.
give this a chance.
