Speaking as someone who would clearly be labeled a conservative I don't mind labels.
I think it is pretty clear that such labels are simply a shorthand way to describe a person's general political philosophy, and not a requirement that they abscribe lockstep to every single tenet of that philosophy.
For example, I'm an athestic/agnostic right winger, not a religious right winger.
