I'm no expert. I'm still 31 and single. Don't regret. Learn from your mistakes and grow. Be as much yourself as possible. Wanting to get laid and wanting a woman to want you for who you are are certainly 2 different things as well.
But for the most part everything people have told you is true. Especially the confidence part. Don't be an asshole, but definitley have an aura about yourself. And don't be moody and mopey.
