keep in mind, the other rule is that all picks can be traded (if both sides agree, of course) by midnight

Rob...anyone? Are there any actual matches going on???

Speaking of drafts, it's a sad statement about a wrestler's abilities when Bobby Heenan is drafted before A-Train in the RDCW/WWE Draft!

Later tonight will be Rhyno vs. Benoit and HHH vs. Guerrero. Both are title matches.

By the way, Rhyno was picked for RAW.

Plus, Ric Flair was drafted by Raw. Y'gotta have him and Heenan together so we old-school fans can hear him talk about what's "Fair To Flair"! Great commentary back in the day between Monsoon and Heenan...

And Triple-H vs. Guerrero? Eddie's gotta win that!

How hard would that suck (but be totally unsurprising) if Triple-H wins a title a week after dropping it to Benoit...

BTW...Are Guerrero and Benoit exempt from the "draft" as they are title holders?

Well Vinnie Mac said everyone was up for grabs.
Theres nothing that says the titles cant swap shows but to have both on the same show obviously wouldnt work.
The most interesting picks will be Booker,RVD,Scotty & Rikishi.
Would they be stripped of their titles if they went to seperate shows or would they swap partners maybe?

oh, and yeah, there are some matches in between. the ones i've seen have all been retarded squash matches, like kane vs rico.

right now, tho, is hhh vs eddie. triple cheeseburger came out in a raw shirt, then tore it off hogan style to reveal the smackdown shirt beneath it.

see, this is actually pretty cool already.

triple h versus eddie is a match you'd never see otherwise. its something new, and, as it stands, its something that makes a good match! (hard to picture either jobbing to the other)

back to eddie vs hhh.

basically, a massive cluster fuck ending, but notta horrible one.

evolution came out to defend HHH. then cena and mysterio beat up evolution. then michaels kicked hhh. then the ref rang the bell. then the benches cleared, basically.

the whole lineups came out. all of them.

then big show. then kane.

then stone cold came out. more drama. 70 people in the ring. raw vs smackdown, et all. actually pretty damn cool.

....then it ends.

bischoff's nex pick is a doozey

.... eric bischoff's next pick for raw is .... paul heyman!

heyman goes nuts, says he quits, and takes off.

few breaks, then bischoff is in the ring for edge's return (thats when i started watching again). edge's turn is all hyped... and then he spears bischoff for no known reason.

i was thinkin that, too

especially since, in the whole 2 hour show, there was only like 10 people picked. if the same pace continues on smackdown, that'll leave like 600 available wrasslers for some new angle/faction.

Not the whole roster was up, only six from each from each brand. So it's done for the night, unless Smackdown chooses another GM and the trade takes place before midnight like Vince proclaimed.

I'm pretty happy with this, overall. I don't get to watch Smackdown, so them losing anyone good has no effect on me. Glad to see HHH off of Raw. Everything about the show seemed to get better after that was announced. I'm pretty sure the locker room singing goodbye wasn't scripted. They fucking hate him. Hate to see RVD going, but I'm sure he'll wind up on the ECW brand extention.

Go here for more info
http://draft.wwe.com

Heyman was never sposed to be a permanent fixture on Smackdown,in fact he stayed longer than originally planned cause things went so well.
I fully expect a return of Steph to the SD GM slot (which is prolly why HHH is switching shows).
Back to the ECW rumour,it had been said that the way it'll launch is with Heyman being sacked & going off & refroming ECW as a rebel brand.

While I hope this is true,I aint gonna be holding my breath just yet!

Yeah but the site is registered to some guy over here in England,so unless WWE has this guy holding the site for them, its not their property!

i was talkin to someone else about this... i guess i missed the explanation of the lottery.

apparently, only these guys are gonna switch places (well, these guys and whomever gets traded by smackdown).

it wasn't a full roster switcheroo -- just 12 picks from a full roster.

I wish they would do 12 more on Smackdown. 6 new faces doesn't seem like that much of a shake up.

So basically if Raw wants RVD or HHH back they can offer say Kane or Hurricane to Smackdown in their place.
We still get a switcheroo, but not as originally shown!

If its a case of Raw wanting to swap HHH for Shelton Benjamin, that'll be pretty shitty as we'll just be back where we started.

Hmmmmm,possible spoiler for a trade.
It would appear that wwe.com either made an error or maybe they just jumped the gun but when they updated the Raw & Smackdown supertstars lists on their sites to reflect the lottery they transfered A-Train to Raw,but have now transfered him back.
Keep an eye on Smackdown this week!

Okay its facts now, direct from WWE.Com
Quote:

G.M. KURT ANGLE
Former WWE Champion Kurt Angle has been chosen as the new SmackDown! General Manager, filling the void left by Paul Heyman. Angle was quick to make the roster his own, as he completed two deals with RAW's Eric Bischoff.

Also fact is Miss Jackie & Rico have been traded for A-Train & Chuck Palumbo
The Dudley Boys & Booker T have been traded for Triple H

Quote:

WWE.com has learned that the role of SmackDown! General Manager has been assumed by former WWE Champion Kurt Angle.

In replacing Paul Heyman, Kurt Angle’s first order of business was to mold the SmackDown! roster to his liking. In an attempt to do so, Angle has completed two trades with RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff.

The first trade sends F.B.I. member Chuck Palumbo and A-Train to RAW for the combination of the sexy Miss Jackie and Rico.

The second trade is a blockbuster three-for-one deal. RAW’s Eric Bischoff has agreed to send the Dudley Boyz and Booker T to SmackDown! in exchange for former World Heavyweight Champion Triple H. This announcement comes straight off the heels of Triple H being chosen by SmackDown! in the draft lottery just 24 hours prior.

bollocks.

i thought it'd be cool as hell to get triple h on smackdown. not only would that give the people who hate him on raw a break, it'd liven up smackdown with all new matches and angels.

It also means that Evolution will be all over the place again!

Only good thing is its rumoured that Heyman will return in a manager role which has sparked even more rumours that he will manage a bunch of ex-ECW guys & then take them away to a new ECW.
The fact that Spike,Bubba,D-Von & RVD have all been transfered to Raw might add even more fuel to that fire (although Rhyno to Raw is not so good to the rumour).

Raw Brings in Highest Rating Since 2002

Quote:

STAMFORD, Conn.--March 23, 2004-- Coming Off of WrestleMania(R) XX, WWE(R) Continues to Build on its Theme Where It All Begins...Again(TM)
World Wrestling Entertainment(R)'s (NYSE: WWE) flagship cable program, WWE Monday Night RAW(R), delivered its highest cable ratings since April 2002 last night.

A special RAW that featured WWE Superstars from RAW and WWE SmackDown!(TM) (UPN Thursday's at 8 p.m. ET/PT) participating in a lottery to determine to which program they would be assigned beat all primetime broadcast television programs among male teens, and ranked second versus broadcast primetime among Men 18-24. RAW experienced week-to-week increases among all key demo areas, particularly younger demos.

"WrestleMania XX was a spectacular success, and achieved our goal of gaining the attention of fans that are, fans that were and fans that will be. It was also meant to be a platform from which we would re-energize the WWE brand and foster ongoing interest in our television programming," said Kurt Schneider, Executive Vice President, Marketing. "Based on last night's ratings for RAW, I think we are off to a strong start in achieving our goals and retaining the interest of fans who were hooked by WrestleMania XX."

In a cliffhanger episode, RAW Superstar Triple H(R) was moved from RAW to SmackDown!, seeming to break-up the clique Evolution(TM), and it was announced that WWE Superstar Edge(R) would return from injuries, not to SmackDown!, but to RAW. In addition, SmackDown! General Manager Paul Heyman(TM) was moved to RAW and promptly quit, leaving WWE SmackDown! without a general manager. Who will be his replacement? How will Triple H take to a new environment and a new locker room? Will Evolution de-evolve without its leader, Triple H, or is rising Superstar Randy Orton(TM) up to the task of keeping the group together? "These are the types of storylines our fans love," noted Schneider. "Part of the reason that we created two stand-alone television programs (RAW and SmackDown!) was to provide more plot twists, new rivalries and intrigue, and we're just starting to realize that creative potential. All I can say is stay tuned. It's going to be a wild ride!"

World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: WWE) is an integrated media and entertainment company headquartered in Stamford, Conn., with offices in New York City, Los Angeles, Toronto and London. Additional information on the company can be found at wwe.com and corporate.wwe.com. Information on television ratings and community activities can be found at parents.wwe.com.

Actually I dont mind HHH,I think he gets a lot of unfair stick(although some of it is very fair) but no way do I feel he is worth Dudleyz & Booker.
Talk about devalueing talent!
