Butch Davis just doesn't want players that are from the previous coaching regime. He's slowly moving all of them out. Getting rid of KJ shows that. They never should have gotten rid of him.

I don't know about him going to SF. I don't think Erickson is all that great of a pro coach and they've lost so much on offense it wouldn't help him. Green Bay would be great because they have a solid offensive line and he can learn from Favre as well. Players like Brunell and Hasselback learned from behind him so it'd be great for him to go there.
