JLA/Avengers promised to be crap. You can't change the characters, and you can't do much to hurt them so as not to offend anyone.
Gave up on reading JLA waaaaay back 1997 I think. Maybe 98.
Punisher/Wolverine is as much a gimmic as JLA/Avengers, even if bother characters are in Marvel universe. Of all the times they faced, which dates back to War Journal 6 and 7, the best would be the more recent segment when the Punisher shot Wolverine in the face, taking away part of his "motherloving tongue."
Punisher looked consirably more Italian back in the 70s. Just noticed the change in his appearance. Had big ol sideburns too.
