History/Powers- Adam Hughes was a down on his luck loser. A failure. No friends, no family, and just looking to make a quick buck. That's how he happened across that fateful ad in the classified section of the newspaper.
"Wanted- Lab asst. easy work, no experience needed."
A scientist had created a new way to help endangered animals by giving them an edge over the other animals. That edge was adapting faster to their environments. All he needed was someone to test it on. Adam went in for the job and got talked into playing gerbil for the scientist (there was an extra hundred dollars in it for him if he did). This procedure he went under changed him. He became better. Faster. Stronger. Smarter. He could adapt into any environment; physically, mentally, socially. He no longer had any problems fitting in.
Then his powers got stronger. Little did he know that that procedure had given him a hyper-accelerated evolution through the genetic engineering he had undergone.Now he could do practically anything. Grow wings, breath underwater, see in the dark. All he needed was to be conditioned into that environment.
For example if he wanted to grow an exoskeleton he'd have to be in an environment we're he got the crap beat out of him. After a short while his powers would adjust to the beating and his power would grow him a shell to protect him. Not always in control of his powers he sometime falls prey to the animal instincts they create.
Personality- Being able to adapt into any environment, Hybrid can get along with almost anybody allowing him to be his cool calm fun-loving self. Though when his animal instincts take hold of him he can get out of control.
