To be honest I'm not one of these people who really cares about special features,so I am unlilkely to buy a DVD again if its released with extra special features,or if its THX digitally remastered or whatever.
What does piss me off is when they re-release a film like Enter the dragon & put the missing scenes back in it.
They knew those scenes existed when they released the original version yet they still released it minus those scenes.
Its either pure laziness or greed that makes them do this,but I'm going with the latter on this!
Its not just DVDs though,I have seen several re-releases of CDs where extra tracks have been added,then a year later,the CDs are re-released again with other stuff such as DVD rom features added as well.
I have seen this with Motley Crue & Iron Maiden releases in the last few years but its probably happened 1000 times over!
DVD & CD labels do not give a shit about the consumer,all they care about is that the consumer keeps spending money!
