The writing and characterization, however, was very inconsistent, with constant changeovers from Duffy to Dixon to Moench, and each time somebody came on, they immediately tried to clarify the character's past to fit their take and made a big, murky mess. After a while, it really seemed the only reason to have the book around was to have something for Balent to draw.
Sadly, I must concur with this. While I did enjoy the past Catwoman with the different writers, she changed a bit too much not to notice.
