I think it is definately plausable. What with all we don't know about the so-called "spiritual" world, there's a whole lot of bizarre stuff that could happen as commonplace as gravity. I personally have experianced emotional imprinting in various dwellings. There are disturbances and certain intonations spiritually that can guide people at times. It's a plane of existance I have little solid knowledge on. But yes I do believe it is possible.

Although not necessarilly commonplace.
