the electric car worked. they even developed a battery to extend the mileage on it to that of a normal car with a full tank of gas. we don't need carbon fuel cells or hybrid cars that still use oil unless our goal is to keep the billions rolling into texaco. had bush not pulled out of the federal mandate on zero emission vehicles we would be easily able to lower carbon emissions.
