I wanted to make a larger post, but I really don't have time right now. I'm gonna see if I can do anything tomorrow.

Meanwhile, everyone feel free to use the army. Just because I introduced them doesn't mean the rest can't use em. If you wanna make any merchandising, though, let me know.

Actually, can we have the less tacky grayer building on the right? Or maybe just repaint? That's a tacky yellow.

Ah, Munich. Home of the Glockenspeal. And rabbit pizza...

No biggie. Good work!

Max stays in La Perdita. I'll use another character for Vanguard Europe. At the end of this issue I'll post an epilogue where Max chooses a definitive codename.

I like how people are handling Phouka so far. One thing though, the effects of is chaos magic tend not to fade away on their own. Thanks for including him while I'm having my access problems.

Then how do they fade away? I was of the assumption that if he has such little control, if it's just "weird stuff happens when he points", then he can't undo it himself.

Ok, back up and able to get on and see the boards ok. Boy was stuff freaky there for a lil. Anyhow, due to a family emergancy, I will not be able to post until about next saturday (catching a plane to FL tomorrow morning). I just wanted to let you guys know that I haven't died or abandoned the story or anything.

Later!

sorry if Iwas unclear, Phouka's chaos powers are very similar to the Scarlet Witch's powers. So, basically, they don't fade away at all usually. They're unpredictable enough that it CAN happen, but it usually wouldn't. So, say he zaps someone and he turns them into a baby, the person would remain a baby until they grow up normally or some other force changes them back into an adult. some stuff will stop happening, but the effect will remain (for instance, it's stopped raining invulnerable fuzzy bunnies but the invulnerable fuzzy bunnies that DID rain already are still there). so, typically, if he turned a gun into flowers they'd stay flowers until something else acted on them. Again, this is just how his powers would USUALLY work, you never really know when Chaos is involved.

I was just curious about the characters whose skin colour he'd changed. Somebody (I think it was Bri) wrote Phouka undoing the effects himself, and I was wondering if that was accurate.

Okay, I've written Mason Templar out of the story, for better or for worse. I had planned to bring him back healed from his wounds in this story, but I figured that would have been a cop-out, and I wrote that large chunks of his flesh were cut from him, so I don't imagine that anyone could recover all that quickly from something like that. That's something I'll have to remember next time I put one of my characters in a situation like that...

I don't want Mason brought back in this story, but he'll be back at some point in the future in some capacity or another. Maybe with yet another fake name (a la "Mason Templar")... who knows? Suffice it to say that he's not dead and will return.

Meanwhile, I'll probably introduce yet another new character to work with the team by the end of this story or the beginning of the next. I want to do some experimentation with a fairly ordinary person who just happens to have some extraordinary abilities. But I'm waiting to find out what the dillio is with Gooz's subplot involving the Vanguard Complex. If the next story is just going to be another "heroes vs. villains" scenario, I'll probably just sit it out altogether.

Oh...wait, it's only for Metas. Maybe I should just make an building for La Perdita.

Um...what's a good name for an insane asylum? Besides 'Arkum'.
