That's a really amusing thread, and I'm finding it very tempting to jump in and sort of do my own Rob-bashing. I'm in the mood to call someone gay, and Gob's not here...
Unfortunately, I have never spent a single cent on any of Liefields' work so it would be lame for me to join in, as the man has never done anything to me. Never ripped me off, never raped my eyes with his crappy shit. Never been affected by his lazyness.
Even if I skew my perspective a little I still can't bring myself to hate Rob. Somebody IS paying him money to do this. I mean, I can't draw shit either, but if someone offered me a ton of moolah to draw stuff, then I hope you're ready to read a stick-figure version of Wolverine, because that's all I'm good for. At the very worst - Rob is delusional. But then again, so is the girl whose messageboard status is "Indie Sex God".

But I'm digressing. I guess I'd blame the entity responsible for giving Rob work in spite of his lack of talent and professionalism. And fuck, almost a decade of poor performance in the industry? We all know who's responsible for this....

I could draw a fecking lot better than Liefield when I was three years old, using Crayolas on the wall in the hallway.
Drunk Neolithic cave painters could draw better than Liefield... with their toes.
My cats have a better work ethic than Liefield does, and they're... well... cats.

Does Liefeld have any real fans? I could only be a fan of this guy if I was enjoying his stuff much like how I'd enjoy an Ed Wood movie. I find it hilarious how Liefeld just shamelessly rips off other characters without any attempt to change them aside from a few cosmetic alterations.
