I have started a Strikeforce thread for whoever would like to write more "plain-superheroes-like" stories set in the HR universe.
Rules:
1 the Manhattan situation is forbidden to touch even with a six mile long pole
2 Nothing else
My idea for the series is that the motivations of the heroes composing the Strikeforce should be genuine... they are true heroes. But Merlin is the same sleazy bastard, so he will try to bend every mission to his own motivations.
So, my idea for the long run is that the heroes should slowly learn who and what Merlin really is, and at some point kick him out of the team.
Also, I think it would be interesting to base loosely the character over the Avengers, since the last time we used the JLA as an inspirational theme.
But it is just a suggestion.
