I suggest, after the end of this story, to follow Mxy's suggestion of doing a serie of stories set on the island. The reason would be the UN dictat explained in the Christmast issue, the scope, like he said, to explore the island far beyond what we have done to today.

If the building is gonna to fall completely (I don't know if Gooz has still things to reveal about it, that needs it to stay at last partially up, or not), my idea would be that the Vanguardians would move to a big, Hollywood style villa on the sea; a few days ago, Sammitch pointed out that Phil, Leslie and Grissom are extraordinarly rich. Euro is, too, altough to a lesser degree. And Simon Templar, altough I am not sure, should be, too.
So, it seemed strange that they would like to live in an apartment complex, although reduced to fortress. I guess they would be acccostumed to better facilities.

Alternatively, what about an old fortress from the time of Spanish domination on the island? One of those bulky castles used as base for fighting pirates? I think it could be appropriate.

I prefer the former. With Vanguard Europe shaping up like a true professional firm, with a building where the heroes gather mostly for work, without living quarters, I think we should push the "family" aspect of this team (that was strongly present at the beginning of the serie). The reduced line-up should help this process, and the reason for which they are together could be simply the spirit of adventure-seeking that characterize people like Grissom, Templar and Euro.
