Everyone knows that Walrus and Sheep are natural enemies. . .

Once I was hitching a ride with Dan, Chewy's and my neighbor from last year, and we drove past a sheep farm. We seriously contemplated snapping some photos and slipping them onto Steve-O's desktop when we got back to school, but I realized that wouldn't be a good idea. Exposure to sheep can have one of two effects on Chewy: - 1.) Blind rage that annihilates everything unfortunate enough to be in the Walrus Radius.
- 2.) Instant catatonia.
It's not pretty.

So I wonder what Chewy does when he's reading his Bible and comes across Matthew 25:31-32, the sermon about separating the sheep (the faithful believers) and the goats (the fakers)? Does he just wince at the mention of sheep and quickly move on to the next passage, or...?

Everytime the Bible says 'sheep', I substitute 'walrus'. It makes the 'Good Shepherd' passage quite interesting!

Aha, that's interesting. See, when I read my Bible I just substitute "sheep" with "beavers," and it makes for an even more interesting read.

Switching the topic entirely, I was just thinking that it could be interesting if La Perdita (or a nearby uninhabited isle) was the location for a metahuman version of the Burning Man Festival. It could make for an interesting springboard for a story, anyways. If anyone has any suggestions for a name for the festival, let me know.
BTW, I'm still planning on starting the next story, but I hope the current story doesn't end until August. It's the end of the semester for me right now, and I am super-busy. That doesn't mean, though, that I will relinquish the next issue to someone else... I've got too great an idea that cannot wait any longer.

The boards have returned, and the last posts are gone.
I will repost the ones in the Vanguard Story, but I have also the ones of the solo stories. If their owners needs them, just asks.

Yeah, I think we're gonna need those. Did you happen to get the Kampy thread as well?

Sadly no, I have the habit of saving only the stories, so I have the back up for the Vanguard intl. stories and the solos (including the Siege) I will repost them this evening.

I have reposted the lost entries for the Siege and Bree's solo. Since both the authors have moderator privilegies, I didn't take the time to edit the garbage out of those posts. Do it yourselves. I don't think there is anything else lost.

Yes, there was Grissom solo's last post, too. I have reposted it.
If you have it saved, Chewy, and wanted to post it with your name on, go on, and I will delete mine.

Actually, there were the two posts I made in my old solo, finishing that off the day before the boards crashed. You wouldn't have those, would ya?

I am going with the epilogues right now. Now I have the time, tomorrow I don't know.
By the way, where are Bruteforce and Notwedge? They have disappeared long before the board crash.

Euro, I'm interested that Walker and Ed are such "good friends" here. I think it's a very clever use of Charles Walker and I'm interested in seeing what else (if anything) you have up your sleeve for later.

I was gonna have Nobody go and Mxy stay, but now I think I'm gonna write them both out (and Link Fox as well), because these days I don't even have time to check out the off-topic forum, and it's gonna get worse soon. So I'm gonna stop posting for a while, and concentrate in the solo story Grimm and Euro know about.

I've not really had the time to write of late. I was going to leave my character to Mxy, as he knows him best, but with him going, I can't.
I guess right now just leave him in the hospital or wherever it is he's at.

Chewy: thanks. As my understanding and liking of Walker grows day by day, I am trying to reflect it over Euro. Mxy and Bruteforce: too bad you can't post. Next story will be very cool.

We could start that story Pro proposed months ago... the Vangardians start to disappear one by one, and at some point, months from now, the ones left have to search for them. By the way, Tayden is missing since the beginning of the Darkworld story, I guess.

And now my story is finished. Ta-daa.
Time travel stories are hard. You actually have to think about what you're writing. I never had to do that before... and yes, the cleverer among you may notice I left a plot hole. Don't worry, I know what happens and it'll get resolved eventually.
Now do what you want. Epilogue away. But I'm done.

Great job with the epilogue, Danny! I love the "Jack Tangent" name. CJ: Very, very nice. Short and sweet, but packing a punch nonetheless.

No, I was saying that we could do Pro's idea much later, when more vanguaridans will have disappeared. I know next story will be started by TTT, I know something about it and it's very cool.
About Tayden, I was simply stating he has actually disappeared. He was not in the Aisling story, and is not in the current, nearly finished one. Being in Grimm's hand means he will shift to Europe?

Sorry. I misunderstood.
And, no, I don't think Tayden's goin to VE. To the best of my knowledge, Grimm has other plans.

Euro, I think a better name for your epilogue would've been "How Euro Got His Groove Back"... At any rate, well done. I liked the items Raptor picked up. Interesting...

CJ, absolutely fantastic post. The best post from you ever, and one of the nicest one ever posted in the HR Universe. I am sure this is the start of something that will make old universe romances like Pala-Mala and Hero-Tora pale in comparison.

Thanks. What it still lacks it's the proverbial big fucking mace, I am sure I found a "true" mythical one in some celtic legend once, but so far I wasn't able to recover that reference. The day I will, I guess the transition to my own version of Hawkman will be complete.
Ah, and thanks to Grimm for the idea behind the wings. He proposed a Da Vinci based Raptor for the Society of Rogues years ago.

I didn't think it was going to be a solo. But it's a very good idea, I don't think as a collective story could have worked.
