What run was your favorite? The only rules are it had to have a consistent artist/writer during the run.
Mine is Ultimate Spider-man.

That's easy. It was the "new look" Marvel Family written by E. Nelson Bridwell and drawn by Don Newton, Kurt Schaffenberger, Alan Weiss and Joe Rubenstein. It started in the last two issue of SHAZAM! (34-5), ran through almost 30 issues of World's Finest (253-282) and ended in Adventure Digest (491-2).

I really liked the Johns/Kolins Flash run. Kolins's art really captured the sense of speed and motion. And Johns did a helluva lot to flesh out the characters and setting of the book. Great stuff.

People: Instead of posting long lists of name-combinations, why not explain what you liked about the run?

Millar/Hitch - Ultimates
Ellis/Hitch - Authority
Ellis/Cassaday - Planetary
Bendis/Maleev - Daredevil
Bendis/Bagley - Ult. Spiderman
Vaughn/Guerra - Y-The Last Man (okay, I know the series has had several fill-in artists, but every issue they do together is awesome).
Azzarello/Risso - 100 Bullets
Dave Lapham - Stray Bullets
Frank Cho - Liberty Meadows

Crazy Canucklehead...
"Mysteries of this kind are not to be revealed but when there is the greatest necessity for it. If I should pretend to utter them for ostentation or diversion, the spirit that instructs me would be silent, and would leave me when I should have occasion for it." -- Merlin, The History of the Kings of Britain, by Geoffrey of Monmouth

Okay. That particular SHAZAM! run had thebest writing since Fawcett closed their doors, and Don Newton's art was sweet.

Ultimate Spider-man is the comic that got me back into comics. It showed me hope in a medium I had given up in high school. It has been consistently the best read every time I pick it up. Bendis is my god.
