I think it would be also interesting doing the Manhattan story now.
I know that it could seem the worst moment, with the lack of creativity, time and posters "on duty", but the "Thoughened glass" shows that there are many new writers that have time and will to wite, but are not able to join the HR Universe for all its complications.
The Manhattan story, IMo, is the one that could quickly and easily transform the universe into a "new reader friendly" one.
With just one story, we can get rid of many, redundant characters, old concepts, the meta-hate, the Strikeforce, and have a sipler universe with just two teams and new things to explore.
I would hear by Doc what he has in mind, and from the writers who would be interested into doing it now. The "bad moment of the year" is not an excuse, because we have been slow, and without too much time at our disposal for nearly a whole year. We need new blood, and to have it we have to simplify the HR place as soon as possible.
