Danny, you are right, but the problem is that I want to show them, both MBL and Vanguard, using with some effectiveness their powers.
And because the old MBLeaguers had dozens of different powers each, I would orchestrate a battle royale where the powers of one counteracts the powers of another...
It something usually it can't be done in group stories, because one has to close his eyes over the use (or misuse) of his own character, or else it would be impossible to keep going the story.
I mean, for example, Grissom could simply teleport a small pebble into the head of his opponent, effectively killed him. The Lioness could teleport all the Vanguardian into outher space or into the pit of a volcano... this sort of things. Why this doesn't happens?
It's something it can't be answered in a group story, but I think in a solo one should at the least try to be respectful to the whole character, included his own powers.
