Hey, Euro. I'm just curious. Did you just write my character in your last post because you needed someone to say those lines? Because you write him the same way you did a year ago. Which would be okay if I did too. It doesn't really upset me - I know I mess up on characterization with other posters' characters from time to time - but every time I try to show my character's personality evolving, you paint him as the same impulsive, short-tempered newbie. It makes me think you're not really paying attention to what I'm writing. Which makes me sad.
It's not that big a deal. I'll be posting later tonight, continuing my previous story post, so Phil's dialogue isn't really that important. I just think a lot of us - myself included - could stand to pay more attention to what other posters are trying to do with their characters. I know I used to have a problem with that - I can think of a couple of stories where I used Chance just to say the scripted lines that set up 'big' lines for Phil or Grissom or Dirk. I'll work harder on writing Ed in character, and you can do whatever you find best with all this.
