Possibly. I might just wait and see where you guys go with it.

I have to second Danny's shout-out to Phil. RoboSquirrel was perfect....

Let me explain: Heaven (I have just read my dictionary) is the Christian mithology place for the eternal rest of the souls of dead that behave "well" during life. Hell is the opposite.

So, since I don't want to be damned for eternity, I want to go to Heaven when I will be dead.

That is what I meant when I said that my goal was to go to Heaven.

Well.... anyway. Post in the story, dammit.

Will we ever have the chance to have Haven fall on Earth and let an enlightment-atheist-pseudoscientific era reign over the HR Universe?

Pro, I think Euro is equating Haven with Heaven.

Hope this helps.

Aaaaahhhhh.....thanks Chewy.

Euro, "Heaven" (in that spelling) is, indeed, the eternal afterlife of Christian religion. "Haven" (with that spelling) is the HR universe version of The Phantom Boards, or, Continuity's Realm.....the hub of the multiverse.

Unless you already know that. And you are just fucking with me. In that case, aren't I the dumbass?

Okay. I'll post something....

Wow. Thinking about translating for Euro got me all nostalgic. Do you realize it has been FIVE years now since I began writing with this group? Five. I'm sure longer for Chewy, Gooz, and Danny.

Gooz, Chewy, Danny, Euro, TTT, Mxy, Grimm, NotWedge, Doc, Phil, CJ......cheers!

Sure I know. But being the two names very similar (and it is not a coincidence, right?) I tried that joke. And no, I am not fucking with you. I have a son and a daughter, I have done with fucking.

By the way, I though Haven was like the Circle of Light, while the Phantom Board is now the Castle of Crossed Destinies.

Good point. I guess I just related a seperation between Continuity's castle, and, the dimension itself.

In the old universe, Continuity was the realm AND the structure. In this one, I left the Castle as the structure (sitting somewhere in time/space), and created Haven to be the 'hub' of Vanguard's multiverse. Not so important, as, structurally-sound for the multiverse. The Order is, effectively, doing TOMB's old job of keeping Vanguard's timelines and dimensions straight and proper. I certainly have no interest in making Haven the Courts of Light. The Order is not nearly as 'godly' as you may think.

But, I see the confusion. Ah, whatever you make of it....

Pro, please don't remind me how long I've been writing stupid superheroes named after myself...

God... just a touch over five years would make me 15 or 16 when we started.

Damn. It will be five years this January for me. So much has changed... yet much remains the same. I must ponder this.

Pro: great to see you writing something here. Just jump in whenever you have an idea like that.

Euro: Wow. Shades of Mongo! It's like we've stepped into a 1930s Flash Gordon serial or something. Should be fun!

BTW, if this Quantos is the great-great grandson of our Dr. Henry Quantos, does this mean he'll be getting some action in his old age and having another child, or is this a descendent of Quantos' daughter Helen McKenzie or his adoptive son Axel? You don't have to answer that, really -- it just made me think.

I hope to post soon.

Euro, TTT: Thank you.

Danny, my apologies for stirring painful memories of nerdin'-out-sessions gone by.....

Phil, you are not required to do anything with the Army of One if it doesn't appeal to you. Just thought it would be something fun to do with the character....

TTT:
about the Flash Gordon feel, thanks. It's exactly my intent. Flash Gordon, when I was a kid, was my first exposure to science fiction, along that British serial with UFOs and, a little later, Space 1999, and I have nostalgy for all that stuff.

About Quantos, YOU know what's going on, so YOU, among all the writers here, should not really be concerned. Just post!

Ah, two more things:

1) Anything I have planned has been written. Now posts freely whatever you want: how to plan the mission, how the vanguardians will get to Venus, if they are going alone or with an army, what the First Element is -altough, being them on the moon, it should be obvious-, how the Queen is called and her physical appearences.

2) I have seeded some clues about what's really going on across my various posts. If one of you (besides TTT, who KNOWS) thinks to have discovered it, post it in the story, having your character explaining it. It could lead to interesting twists.

Yeah, why are we letting Pro count?

I'm sure I've won more than Chewy but probably not as many as Pro.

And people would think I was cool if I only posted twice a year, too.
