Yeah, I see all the "tricks" they do to sell the sledgehammer. That's kinda my point. Do the writers think that the audience is that stupid? It's one thing to ignore the more traditional slight-of-hand stuff they use to sell regular wrestling moves and "believe" the moves, it's a whole other thing in my mind to accept that a real shot to the head wouldn't cause brain damage and/or death.
Didn't they start using the sledgehammer around about the time wrestling started its nosedive in ratings?
