It just irks me that the late Filipino band Wolfgang released a couple of albums overseas and went nowhere, until the band called it quits and scattered its members all across the seven seas or something like that (Actually, one stayed in America, one went back to spain and a couple went back to the Philippines and started their own bands) while William Hung is actually selling records just because he's a talentless dipshit who's too stupid to know that he's a [insert derogatory term here]!
I liked Wolfgang because it was an honest-to-goodness group of musicians who didn't try to hype themselves by selling any angles nor did they tell you what to do or who to vote for - they just played music and bridged the gap between ballsy hard-rock and heavy metal without sacrificing melody to agression. It also helps that they had a very good vocalist(Basti Artadi) who actually knows how to sing (he also played the part of Jesus Christ in a rock theater representation of Jesus Christ Superstar) and a REALLY good guitar player(Manuel Legarda) - both having won NU Rock Awards' best vocalist and best guitarist awards perpetually. The drummer(Wolf Gemora) and bassist (Mon Legaspi) also garnered their respective awards, but not as much. Fuck drummers and bassists, says I.

A large number of their songs are shared on most filesharing programs and I believe "Semenilin" - their heavier and darker sophomore effort - can be found on Amazon. They also got one song, No Falter, included on the official soundtrack for the Final Fantasy movie.
*EDITED: per bubog's correction. Thanks.*
