I find it hilarious. The Hall is already filled with wife beaters, drunks, gamblers and even a few gangsters. What gets David Wells a fine today would have been another page in Babe Ruth's legacy yesterday.
These people are kidding themselves if they think keeping Pete Rose and Shoeless Joe Jackson out of the HOF somehow "redeems" baseball.
