Some time ago, my partner raised an interesting question... He queried whether the colours that I see are the same colours that he sees.

We discussed it for a long time (to the point of loosing the whole thread of the conversation - sort of like saying a word a great number of times, and then thinking that it sounds wrong) and I concluded that of course we all see the same colours - red is red, it looks hot, angry, dangerous and fast; blue is blue it looks wet, cold, relaxed etc etc.

Now looking back and taking into account what my partner said, i am now unsure whether my original conclusion was correct. What if what i see as red, you see as blue, but since a young age have been conditioned to attribute the name/ mood/ temperature of blue to it...?

Very confusing. Well for me anyway. If anyone has an explaination, let me know please! I'd also be very interested to know what you think on the subject too.
