Funny thing is, I loved his stuff on Uncanny X-Men back when he was following Paul Smith's run. Each character was beautifully rendered, fight scenes were clear and easy to follow, but it was clearly HIS style. Now, every character, with few exceptions look the same. He needs a colorist because you'd never be able to tell the difference between his female characters in black and white. He doesn't seem to be arsed to draw backgrounds. Everything's just blocky and unattractive. But I guess he can afford to tread water, what with him being the last link between the current crop of artists and the glory days when people like his dad, the Buscemas, and others were doing QUALITY work.

What kills me is, it seems EVERY JRJR shot I've ever seen is someone standing in rain. And, it's never a light sprinkle. It's always POURING down like a Biblical flood. What's up with that?
