Except that militias in the U.S. weren't organized and led by Al Qaida, and militias in the U.S. didn't engage in suicide bombings, beheadings, and slaughter of innocent civilians, including uncounted thousands of Iraqi citizens.
Al Qaida-led terror and bombings in Iraq have killed far more innocent Iraqis than American soldiers. Does this logically indicate an Iraqi-led resistance?

There would not be any resistance in Iraq, if not for external Al Qaida leadership and propaganda imported into Iraq.
