Man, I was racking my brain trying to figure out these roles, and you just threw it out without a problem. Good stuff.
I, too, had come up with Antonio Banderas as Khan a long time ago. He seems to be the natural succesor to Ricardo Montalban. But, Elwes as Kirk is a stroke of genius.
I would add someone like Matt Damon as Chekov. He's got the neutral look, and can actually do some acting. Plus, I'd throw Gina Gershon or Heather Graham in as Yeoman Janice Rand. What about Famke Jamesson (sp?) as Nurse Chapel?
This is cool. I'd love to others make their own cast, as well...
