I predict that Dick Jauron will get the dreaded "vote of confidence" after week eight of the season, meaning I will have to listen to people begging for him to be fired for the next nine weeks.

I predict that after the Green Bay at Chicago Monday Night Football game, there will be, on average, 750 phone calls a day made to sports talk radio in Chicago screaming that Rex Grossman needs to be starting.

I predict that Ray Lewis will get injured by week five again and miss the rest of the season, possibly ending his career.

Football is by far my most favorite sport....and I'm a huge Dolphins Fan......so I predict the Fins win the Super Bowl. [biiiig grin]

The best part is they are playing twice in the Meadowlands this year ......they play both the Giants and Jets in NJ.....I might see them twice. [woooOOOOoooo!]

Animalman said he thought that the Cincy might be the surprise team in the AFC North. Oh, I'm sure they'll surprise. They may win 4 or 5 this year.

Pro Bowl safety Lawyer Milloy was released by the Patriots, and apparently the Bills have already made an offer to him. If Buffalo does get him, this might be enough to put them over the top, depending on whether or not Milloy still has a few Pro Bowl years left in him(last year he posted career lows in tackles, sacks, forced fumbles and interceptions).

According to the Pats beat writer it became a poker game on contract renegotiations. Someone had to take a paycut, either Milloy or Harrison and Milloy said he wouldn't. The message being sent is that no one on the team is bigger than the team.

That being said, OH MAN I wish the Seahwawks could afford him.

And I predict Vinnie T. breaks his leg this year. The Jets pick up Glenn Foley.

I'm really not sold on Kansas City. It seems that most people are high on them, but I don't see why.

All the controversy and questions with Priest Holmes, the defense won't be that improved, and they play in arguably the most difficult division in football.

I just have a feeling...

I don't like 'em much either, but for some reason, there's something there. I would say my Raiders, but nothing much has changed for the better, and my guys keep getting older.

I don't get into making predictions. In a game where injuries are so influential, it's too hard.

That said, I believe my Browns will experience a fluctuation this year and not return to the playoffs. Could be wrong, but the D looks too suspicious. But on offense, as long as Kelly Holcomb stays healthy, they'll be entertaining.

7-8, 8-8, maybe 9-7.

I don't think the defense looks as good on paper as it did last year, but Dave Campo is a superb defensive coordinator(not such a good head coach, though...), so he could very well get some of those underachieving talents(like Courtney Brown) to perform with his schemes.

I think William Green will be the deciding factor in how well they do. If he consistently gives them the kind of running threat that he did in the second half of last year, they can make the playoffs. If he struggles like he did in the first half, I don't see them finishing above .500.
