Anyone notice that Slipknot was incarcerated in Opal City. Doesn't The Shade live there? Hmmmm, I'd say that is another nod to my theory of The Shade.
If it isn't Shade then I think it's Luthor using a different hero or villain for every murder attempt. Such as Nightshade, the grey ghost or shadowthief for Sue, the same for Jean. Don't forget how many people Luthor brought to his side in Superman/Batman..I'm sure their are still allegiances. I don't think it could be Digger's son unless he had a bunch of tech help.
