The guy who plays Weiss is also on this show.
Now, I'm gonna have to go home and take the vcr from the basement and put it in another room with a TV and hook it up to the tv & satellite box. Then set up the vcr and make sure it works....all in the space of about 30 minutes. Gah!

Unless there's someone else out there who looks just like him, I swear to God I've seen him in the teasers for Lost.
Although . . . just because he might be in Lost doesn't mean he'll stay on the show. I know they've mentioned that they'll be losing cast due to the story line (the beastie out there gets people from time to time) . . .
So maybe he's on Lost and this other mid-season replacement show?

Probably. The guy who plays Weiss has been friends with Abrams since kindergarden and has been in everything else he has done.

Right now I'm really enjoying all the cliff hangers. Something Alias had at the beginning then dropped. I hope they don't end up changing just so they can try to get new viewers.

Yup, I am liking this show. Though it is on at the same time as Smallville as well as a couple of other shows I like so I have been skipping Smallville for now.

Wednesday nights I record lost and smallville. I had to quit watching that 70's show. TBS also has family guy reruns on at the same time. Why can't networks spread the shows out to different nights?

Anyone watch it? Almost nothing exciting happened. We found out about Kate's past which wasn't really anything big or shocking. It was more of a letdown than anything. It almost feels that Abrams realized what a hit the show was and went into "safe mode".

I liked it. No big revelations but lots of character development. Actually like the whole cast & hope nobody gets killed. So who do you think will be the first one killed?:um:
Also notice the promos showing the brother & sister characters running through the forest & it appears the sister is being yanked up straight in the air. Teaser or doomed character?

It was also very creepy that the lost crew had to move off the beach because of weird tide activity sweeping the beach away.

Last nights episode was OK. The part where Boone saw Sawyer in the police station bothered me. I read somewhere that the characters were somehow connected before the flight, and that really bothers me.

One theory I've heard on other boards about this show is that the island is supposed to represent purgatory. The inhabitants are there to burn off their sins.

It is better to start with the first season. I have all the DVD's and watch them all the time.
Anyhow, I missed tonights episode when it first aired. I like how they were trying to find some entertainment. The french woman was interesting and I really hope that the monster she was talking about isn't something to unbelievable.
They are supposed to make an announcement soon about the DVD release. Hopefully it will be soon after the season ends. This is definitely a show I want to watch without interruption.

I found out some info on the DVD: Quote:
The Lost DVD is coming out in early September. Cocreator Damon Lindelof tells that they have an "amazing amount" of extras planned, including "awesome commentaries," deleted scenes between Locke and Hurley, Sawyer and Charlie and Locke and young Walt; footage of the Boeing 747 being cut up in the Mojave Desert and transported via barge to Hawaii; and a look at what went into making the original polar bear sequence. But here's the best part: Lindelof says he and J.J. Abrams are considering making an original mini-movie that "answers one of the questions we've been asked very frequently about the show but have made no attempt to answer so far. It has something to do with why the plane may have crashed."
So their not going to tell us how the plane crashes in the show?

It was good. The scene at the beginning with Sawyer being a kid was disturbing for me, mainly because the kid looks exactly like my nephew. The drinking game between Kate and Sawyer was great also.
