These are my two cents (October 1, 2003). No refunds will be given....

WRESTLING: I love wrestling. I watched wrestling since late 70's when Hulk Hogan was Sterling Golden in AWA/NWA. I am a Sting fan...hoping one day he would get to his senses and join WWE. The word sting is in the word WREstLing...Whatever happened to the good old days on WWE when we didn't know who was going to appear on RAW or Smackdown. I used to love watching each week to see who would get traded. They should bring that back. Also, I think that Booker T when he gets back should be in contention for the title. Same thing goes for Edge. Is it just me or does the RAW storylines keep getting stupider and stupider while the Smackdown storylines keep getting better and better. (except for the Vince vs. Stephanie match).

BASEBALL: I currently live in South Florida, so even though I am a die-hard Mets fan (yeah, yeah, I know they suck!), I am rooting for the Marlins to win the World Series...Props goes to the Minnesota Twins for beating the New Yuck Stinkees! I am tired of them buying championships with George Stoogebrenner.

FOOTBALL: I am a die-hard Buccaneers fan and hoping they repeat!!! For your information, I am not "joining the bandwagon". I was born in 1975, the Buccaneers came into existence in 1976. When I was young, I was watching football with my family and was rooting for a team. When I was a teen, I found out that I had been rooting for the Buccaneers all this time. So I loved them then, when they sucked, and now when they're great. I'm just shocked that Minnesota, Indianapolis, Kansas City, and Carolina are all undefeated so far...

BASKETBALL: Don't really care too much except I like teams that Pat Riley coaches. Except the Knicks. I can't stand them. Never have, never will. So a Heat fan I will be this year.

HOCKEY: Born in New York, I am an Islanders fan. The Rangers can go to hell with the Knicks. I was growing up as a kid going to 4 consecutive Stanley Cup championships in a row. We could have had 5 (five) in a row if it wasn't for those damn Edmonton Oilers and their star Wayne Not-So-Greatzky. No other team has won four in a row since then, so there...and by the way, I know it's pre-season, but the Islanders are (as of this morning) 5-0!...

BOXING: Don't like the sport...

NASCAR: ...is an acronym for Non-Athletic-Sport Centered Around Rednecks.

ANY OTHER SPORT: I'll watch at least once, but if it bores me, I'll never watch it again. If it involves women, I'll give it another chance.

Those were my two cents. See you next week!

Minnesota wasn't much of a suprise to me, with the talent they have and the awful division they play in, I thought they could sneak into the playoffs fairly easily.

Indianapolis wasn't a suprise to me, at all. I picked them to go to the Super Bowl this year(and maybe last year, too). To do so, however, they'll need Edge James at 100%(or close to it).

Kansas City was a suprise to me only in the sense that I didn't expect them to be this good. Dick Vermeil is really putting a stamp on his legacy right now; if the Chiefs make it to the Super Bowl Vermeil will have taken 3 different teams(in 3 different decades) to the Super Bowl.

Carolina wasn't much of a suprise to me either, as they started out strong last year, too, and like last year, I expect them to come back down to Earth soon, as they have the most one dimensional offense in football right now(along with Miami).

The teams that have really suprised me are the one's that have done poorly; San Diego, Philadelphia, New Orleans, and even the Penny-less Jets. Marty Schottenheimer, Andy Reid, Jim Haslet and "Hurm" Edwards are some of the better coaches out there; I expected more from them.
