I hope you're right, but she did reaffirm her belief several times after, so most of the evidence points to her really thinking that. If she had simply recanted, or just admitted that the comment may have been unfair, there would be no issue. We do all make mistakes. There's no shame in it.
In any event, continuing a discussion on this, of all topics, is utterly useless, and too big a waste of time even for myself. I do have standards, y'know, small as they may be.
