It is very disturbing that these people have so much invested in a stupid baseball team.
To pin it all on one man reaching for a ball is silly, especially as he wasn't the only one to reach for it. He didn't make that shortstop bobble that ball or cause the Marlins to hit 8 runs.
If anything bad happens to that man, then the Cubs fans do not deserve to have a team to root for.
Besides there is always next year.
And the Sox still have a shot at breaking their streak.
Not that I care.
