Al Franken and Bill O'Reilly are at least open about their stances in all of their convos. What Stewart does is makes it sound like he's talking to a five year old with a barrage of "uh huhs" and the usual wear and tear of questions that make sure to keep his credibility safe by not offending the person he's talking to.
He's condescending, and that's much worse than a raised voice.
