Actually, O'Reilly is known to joke with many of his guests. Especially those from the entertainment industry.

Secondly, Comedy Central didn't do dick. The Daily Show producers scrambled to get that article out. They didn't make a joke about it, O'Reilly, or his audience. They used a serious study to try and prop themselves up. Like I said, this is a show that is supposed to excell in humor, yet they can't take a joke themselves. Maybe O'Reilly made them mad by encroaching on their territory of calling their own fans stoners, slackers, and 30 year-old virgins.
