I know it looks like a selfish move, but I'm not sure it's fair to say Williams left for "stupid personal reasons".
The guy...has problems. Fairly serious problems. Beyond the anxiety disorder, I think. The marijuana may have be the final straw, but I'm not so sure there weren't other factors.
I'm not saying that he should be let back into the NFL and have his slate wiped clean, but in life there are more important things than football.
