Jackson Angry With Eminem Over New VideoMichael Jackson is angered by the way he is mocked in rapper Eminem's recently released video "Just Lose It" and has asked cable music stations to remove the video from their rotations. "I am very angry at Eminem's depiction of me in his video," Jackson said Tuesday in an interview with comedian Steve Harvey on the Los Angeles radio station 100.3 FM. "I feel that it is outrageous and disrespectful. It is one thing to spoof, but it is another to be demeaning and insensitive." In the video, Eminem appears dressed mockingly as Jackson, who has pleaded not guilty in Santa Barbara County to child molestation, conspiracy and administering alcohol to an underage companion. Eminem, costumed as Jackson, is seen with a group of boys in the background, jumping around as he sings about Jackson's child molestation allegations: "Come here little kiddie, on my lap. Guess who's back with a brand new rap." "I've admired Eminem as an artist, and was shocked by this," Jackson said in the radio interview, according to a transcript provided by his publicist. "The video was inappropriate and disrespectful to me, my children, my family, and the community at large." Later in the video Eminem also ridicules plastic surgery done on Jackson's nose, and an accident in which Jackson's hair caught on fire while filming a Pepsi commercial in 1984. So far, only Black Entertainment Television has agreed to pull the video. The network's president and founder, Robert Johnson, said he felt it was inappropriate to disparage a celebrity.

steve harvey also had some very negative things to say about the rapper recently. he got eminem's video pulled from... one of the cable networks.
both steve and michael are going to get lyrically raped in the near future.

I liked Howard Stern's point that Eminem doesn't directly reference the charges against Jackson in either the lyrics or the video. The video just shows kids in the background jumping on a bed, which is what Jackson invites journalists to come see whenever he does an interview.
I'm not saying that Eminem doesn't want us to draw an inference, just that he doesn't directly imply anything(keep in mind, he also dresses as Santa in the video, so the "come here little kiddie, on my lap" could just as easily be referencing that).
And that's terrible.

meh. Eminems new song is shit. his older stuff is good, but I'm not buying his new cd unless it comes out with a better single than that. Anyways, didn't Eminem keep Weird Al from making a parody of 8 Mile because he thought it'd ruin his legacy or something? sounds like a double standard to me.
