I like O'Reilly's radio show.
BTW, all this talk of O'Reilly as a right winger is always interesting to me.
If O'Reilly is a Republican, and he says he is an independent, he's definitely a Republican in the McCain/Arnold/Pataki mold. He takes a lot of "moderate" positions on things, including the environment and, I seem to recall, gun control, and he was and is VERY critical of Swift Boat Vets, Rumsfeld and the "neocons."
If anything, I'd call him a "populist" more than a conservative.
