I once had an internet girlfriend. I was 15 in Florida, she was 14 in Louisiana.
Her mom broke us up after almost 2 years. At that point, we were barely talking (she had long spells where she wasn't online for months... damn parents), so I didn't care at that point and just wanted closure.
Now, I use the internet to meet local girls in the hopes to meet up with them later.
