This came up in a different thread already but it is really getting to me now.
There was this movie that came out in the 80's that involved kids going to space to find a new place to live because the earth was over populated or something like that. It involved a man being jettisoned into space for some reason. It also had the crew finding a radio stations broadcast signal and followed it for a while. It was a station playing 50's rock and roll music. It ended with one of the kids finding another closer planet that was inhabitable.
I spoke with my brothers and sisters earlier today and they had no clue what I was talking about. I really really want to know the name of this movie.
