Obviously a mod should be allowed to edit a post in order to make it more reader friendly, that is, with format and layout.

Both Wednesday and I have discussed our aversion to censoring things here and are largely in agreement.

Unless someone advocates something wildly inappropriate, like shooting the President (for example), I don't have plans to censor anything.

I could see fixing an obvious spelling error if it assists clarity, or changing a title to a thread in order to mirror the actual topic (and, hopefully, bring in more posters to the topic) but other than that, its pretty much hands off.

I have a slightly more "hands on" approach to moving threads, but that's because Rob himself said he wanted the "deep thoughts" forum to be more serious.
