The "Hi, sexy" I've been getting from one girl lately would be a welcome change if her ex weren't supposedly a jealous hothead. (I've been keeping my distance from both successfully up until the semester started.) That little tidbit isn't stopping her from trying to ease her way back into my pots and pans. She wants me to go with her to Pathmark tomorrow night so she can buy what I need to make her dinner. (Isn't once last semester enough?) That and she's dropping not so subtle hints that I'm gonna be her Valentine ("Be mine..."). Plus there's another girl who...nevermind, I'll save that story for next time. Is there any way I get out of this without an aggresive strike to one or several of the ex's nerve clusters?
