Don't joke around with this. She's beautiful, sweet and a little older than me. I think maybe two friends (one of whom is like a big sister to me) knows who. All in all, take this seriously, 'cause I'm feeling a little vulnerable right now... [ 02-06-2003, 08:44 PM: Message edited by: Brian A. Ortiz ]

For me, it had been something I was thinking about for a long time. I'd been dating the guy a while, and he had wanted to sleep together from day one. I made him wait a few months, because I didn't want my first time to be a one night stand, I wanted to be sure he was sticking around for more than the sex. He was intrigued by me holding out and it made him persue me harder. But I stood firm, I wanted to be sure, I wanted to go into it with a clear head so I wouldn't have regrets. So one night we were out and getting ready call it a night and go our separate ways and I said, "hey, I was wondering if you wanted to get a room tonight?". I never so anyone get on a motorcycle so fast!!! Needless to say he was thrilled, and I liked that I caught him off guard.

Nonono. I meant the "first" line. I was just gonna say something about losing virginity that's all.
I've been where you are, man. I feel for you.

Compared to Kimi's story I come off slutty. I had a boyfriend who was a nice guy my mom set me up with. We had been dating for awhile when my mom and her friend went to Disneyland. I was house sitting for her friend. One day my guy came with me to her apartment (I had to water plants get mail, etc) and after helping me with my chores we began making out. I threw him onto the bed and climbed on top of him, undressing him. He told me no, so I stopped, then he decided it was okay and we went for it. It didn't hurt (like so many woman complain of) just wasn't great. I thought, this was what it was all about? By the weekend though, we were fucking like bunnies and it got a lot better.
I can only say Brian, that I wanted to lose my virginity, it didn't matter with who. It was not special for me. I rushed into it (at 18 years old) And not that memorable. I hope that it is something better for you.

Alls I got to say is it's just a natural thing that happens in life. It doesn't have to be this amazingly special thing. In fact, you do it, and then you look back and it doesn't seem like as big a deal as you thought it would be.

It's like when you were a kid and you really wanted a special X-Mas present and when you got it, it lost some of its luster.
"Yay, I'm one of sexually active! ...Now what?"

Not at all...Don't get me wrong...I was far from innocent at that point, we'd done everything but sleep together. But that guy had the reputation as a player, so I wanted to be sure it wasn't going to be a one night stand. I was older too. I was 23 (definitely old by American standards). But I waited by choice. In college, I had many opportunities, but I didn't want to lose my virginity in a one night stand. And I didn't want to get a reputation. I went to a small school and everyone knew who was sleeping with who. It wasn't my thing. My first wasn't and ideal choice, but I think I got tired of waiting for the "right" guy to come around. He was definitely a wild guy (probably the wildest that I have dated even up until now) and I learned a lot from him. Oh, and like Stareena, my first time didn't hurt a bit.

Hmm...I lost my virginity to my 1st boyfriend (I was 20 at the time). We did just 'bout everything before having sex though...so when the time came, I wasn't really too scared...but I was slightly anxious.
After a month of going out...we're fooling around on his bed one afternoon...and the clothes slowly start to come off and I'm finally down to my panties...and I give the go ahead.
And muther fucker...I bled like crazy! But other than that, it was fine. It didn't hurt (but you'd think otherwise from the blood) but no way in hell did I cum...not even close.
Lot's of practice Brian...on everyone's part...is essential when you're with a new partner or it's your first time.

Something I'll take into consideration.
If a girl daydreams about you while talking to someone on the phone, what's that mean?

Some girl said she had a daydream about me while she was talking to someone (Either on the phone or IM, that's an extranneous detail anyway). I've gotten a couple of friends to give me an idea of what it means, but with the rumors they also say are surrounding her, I need to sort out the facts (Not that I don't trust them, quite the contrary. I just have this annoying habit of wanting to know all possible fact before making decisions in a relationships). So, based on their logic, the only thing she's daydreaming about is sex. Hence, she won't tell me the details of the daydream. Are they on point or off base?

The fact that you're the focus of her daydreams should be enough of an indicator without having to consider the actual content. I believe Freud would have said that both the overt and latent content of this girl's dreams would reflect a semi-repressed impulse to go at it like jackrabbits on speed. I think that was the proper terminology. I wouldn't rush into anything or jump to conclusions, but it's definitely something to think about.

Hey Brian, you need to stop analyzing everything and just let things happen naturally. I used to analyze everything and it just held me back. Once I stopped analyzing and started going on what felt right, things started to happen.

I agree. I had been friends with my current girfriend for about a year but hadn't really thought about anything more. Then one day, she started giving me signals out of the blue. I didn't stop to analyze anything, I just kinda went with it. Took about a day to go from having no idea we liked each other to actually dating, we still have a very strong relationship.
Sometimes you just gotta go with your gut, and in many of those situations there really isn't as much to lose as you thought at first, and a lot more to gain than you thought at first.

Jesus, dude you got to chill out!
It could mean a thousand things. She could be flirting with you, teasing, mocking, observing, or just honestly telling an event. But if you keep racking your brain about it, you're just gonna get a major case of blue balls. Just let shit come. Pick a girl. Go up to her. Chat. Do it agan on a separate occasion. Ask for digits. Wait till your goin out to some party, call er up, tell her that's where your gonna be. Meet her there, give her space. But then catch her alone and do your thing. It'll all work out if you let it.

You're right, I'm overcomplicating things...and paying dearly for it. I've gotten over the daydream thing. I picked. I chatted. When it was all said and done, part of me wished I'd kept my hormones shut off. With that said, I'm gonna give the whole pursuit of a girlfriend a rest and just settle for friendships. Ortiz, my advice is that you quit the girlfriend hunt and play the field a little. Then you'll get a better idea of what exactly you're looking for in a woman.

Up until recently, that wasn't much of a problem. Unfortunately, the dissipated as quickly as it manifested itself...an instant.

Right. Not overly rough. Me? I like a tough gentleman. He opens door for you and beats the snot out of anyone that disses you.
Now, Brother Brian, let me try to help. General info on your lady friends. How are you meeting them? Same class? Club meetings? Religious/social/polical groups? Find a girl that has the same interest and/or opinions. Go out with her. Even if you don't become a couple, you may at least have a good friend.
And keep in mind--even the most confident-looking people are nervous sometimes. Just pretend you know what you are doing, and the rest should follow.

Yep! Just like sliding your hands (or just one if the other is busy, hehe) on either side of her face and into her hair...or just along the jaw line to kind of just, hold her head, while you kiss her... aww man...that's good too...

Man, I thought I was pulling off some innovative moves when kissing, but it seems its widely practiced! In some instances, I pull her in further by putting a little pressure on the lower back. Not so much as "come 'ere!", but a soothing caress like "hey... wassup girl?" ![[cool]](images/icons/cool.gif)

Go with what works man...who cares if it's not "original" as long as it works! And the back thing...that works well too.
Hell, if I'm really into the guy...just about anything he can think of to do while he's kissing me...will get the juices flowin'... ![[humina humina]](graemlins/love.gif)
