I'm pretty sure that most women don't see this as "teasing", but as paying compliments. That's how I see it.

For me, flirting, as long as it's not heavy or inappropriate, is good natured and fun.
It also let's both people know that they each still have "something" there and that there's something that it still desirable to others about themselves.
