I can see the Lance Henriksen thing, Chewy. When I first read it, I thought of him as a black guy but seeing the pic you posted, it makes a lot more sense.

Yeah. I liked it too. For me, the thing with Nuriko was the the best thing, it was just so sweet. I'd like to see it develop myself.

Much appreciated, gentlemen.  Chewy, I'm glad you dug it. I decided Ozzy needed his own personal 'Odyssey' to get his bearings switched from La Perdita to VE. BTW, did you notice the line where the nurses name was "Nurse_____"? That was supposed to be "Nurse Florence", the nurse you created to take care of Icky. When I was writing it, I couldn't remember her name, so I threw a placeholder in to fix later. Of course, being me, I utterly forgot and posted it, and am waaaaay too lazy to be a perfectionist by correcting it now. Just thought you might like to know....  Spam, I've been subtely working on the Nuriko thing for awhile, going back to the La Perdita stories. Figure I'll take my time with that relationship, as I want Ozzy to be open for awhile. Glad you liked it.

I always was one for romance. In the early days of Tommy's character I considered working up a romance between him and Penny, but I rejected it for two reasons:
1) It would be highly unprofessional, and Tommy wouldn't want to spoil a good gig like this with offic romance.
2) I wasn't convinced it would be in character for Tommy

Yes, I invented her, yes, I enjoy writing her, but as Vangaurd Europe's secretary I see no reason why, as a staff memeber, she should be considered 'exclusive'. Have at her. NOT THAT WAY, YOU PERVETS! As far as all my characters having boyfriends...well, if I can't get any action, it doesn't mean they shouldn't. BTW, what the hell is going on over at the Vanguard #18 talk thread? I pop over to see what's going down and find people in the middle of a full-blown row. Not what I expected.
Please say we're not gonna get that here. Personally speaking, I feel it would ruin the team completely to have writers fighting over the stories

It was designed in part in with the problems that seemed to constantly plague VI, yes. So far, it's working pretty well. I would like to see more new blood in both groups, though.
