Quote: Chewy Walrus said: There was an old Batman villain in the daily strips from the '30s called Professor Radium. He had been exposed to so much radium in his lab that (inexplicably) he became immune to it and began to emit it like rays from his body. As a result, everyone he touched would die. He eventually took to using his "gift" to end suffering around Gotham. Unfortunately, he was killed at the end of his first story, which is sad because I thought he was a fun character.
If I were to ever write a Batman story, I would bring back Prof. Radium. I like him that much.
I even wrote a character in the old TOMB stories called "Prof. Radium" which was almost an exact ripoff, but no one noticed because no one had ever heard of the character.
All that to say this - Scott Saavedra stole the idea of the name Dr. Radium from Bob Kane! Boo-yah!
