Oh, and yes, of course the La Perdita guys know about Paragon's team. They are running around with the same name...something that was signed off by Miss Xiang before her death, I'm sure. If nothing else, Drake, Adem, and Ozzy all were once members of the La Perdita group.
Do they really know about them or what's happening with that group? Perhaps, if only for letters from ex-members that have moved to the European team (mainly, if only, Ozzy), which I plan to show later on.
Do they have any real ties with VE? Not really. With La Perdita holding the U.N.'s attention, and the world watching the La Perdita team like a hawk now, Paragon would probably shy away from having any overt ties to the island group, as it would bring too much focus on his business.
If anything, try and compare it to the crew of the Starship Enterprise, and how they are related to the crew of space station Deep Space Nine. They all work for the same company, just, different everything else...
