From what I've noticed, you'll only save about 20 bucks on a refurbished system.
Doesn't seem like it's worth it.

even 20 is sorta worth it, as many of the older (but still good) games could go for 20

ive been buying the used games too 4 titles for 40 bucks, you can look at em there not scratched so why pay extra for shrink wrap?
you can save up tpo 50 bucks someplaces on the refurbished fat ps2's cuz everyones kids are wanting the new version....

The Blockbuster near me doesn't anymore. All the X-Boxes and PS2's are missing parts or busted. With all the people that don't take care of the consoles, it doesn't seem worth it anymore. I wonder if this is the case at other video stores.

That's a good point, actually. There'll probably be a good number of fat refurbs with nada wrong on the market just after Christmas.
