Actually, MEM, that was one of my favorite aspects of the new LSH. Star Boy summed it up: "They're not here for us... We're here for THEM."
Star Boy was a highlight in an all-around great issue. He seems to be trying so hard to do the right thing, and things blow up in his face... literally, apparently.
The new "slogan" is cute, but could get tiresome if overdone.
Barry's work is beautiful here. I had the chance to look through his finished pages in Dallas last month-- indeed, I'm in the process of buying one from him
-- and it's easy to see he's putting alot of heart into this project.
I was pretty convinced I was going to enjoy this relaunch after talking with Mark, Barry and Steve W in Dallas; I'm just surprised how MUCH I'm loving it. Can't wait for issue 2.
